On June 14, 2025, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia organized a training session on “Advanced Business Plan Development” for around 30 in-person participants and 9 more who joined via Zoom.

The session was led by Ms. Chun Sothany, CEO of MVU Investment Plc., who guided participants through the key components of a strong business plan—from the Executive Summary and Market Analysis to Financial Planning and Operations Strategy.

To add real-world insight, Mr. Tieng Sivansak, COO of Royal Group Securities Plc., was also invited to share what investors typically look for before funding a business—such as repayment capacity, security given default, and the willing to pay.

The training offered actionable guidance for entrepreneurs to build a clear and effective business plan—useful not only for daily operations but also as a critical tool when seeking investment or financing.

In addition, the training also focused on hands-on practice, facilitated by expert mentors such as Mr. Chann Veasna, Managing Partner of APV (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. Mr. Thai Nha, CEO of Canadia Securities Co., Ltd., Mr. Tay Bunnat, Head of Securities Representatives at ACLEDA Securities Plc., Mr. Suy Sokraksmey, CEO of Bee Capital Plc., Mr. Khov Engleng, Investment Manager of Emerging Markets Investment Advisers.
