July 12, 2025

On July 10, 2025, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC), in collaboration with the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) and the Cambodian Microfinance Association (CMA), organized a hands-on training on “Financial Projections” for 50 entrepreneurs and business owners.

A presenter at a Khmer Enterprise workshop explains operating expenses and industry benchmarks for SMEs to an audience of Cambodian entrepreneurs.

Mr. Chann Veasna, Managing Partner at APV (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and Vice President of YEAC, led the session, covering practical topics such as how to read and use income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial ratios to make better business decisions. Mr. Sim Chankiriroth, Founder and CEO of BanhJi Fintech and Vice President of YEAC, also joined as a guest speaker to share insights on supply chain financing.

The session focused on helping participants understand how to build accurate financial forecasts and tackle common cash flow issues—skills that are essential for running and growing a business.

A speaker presents a case study on "SME Solutions Ltd." to Cambodian entrepreneurs during a business strategy workshop.

This initiative received support from the Capacity Building, Research and Development (CBRD) Program via the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
